A 64-year-old woman in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, damaged several parked cars because she wanted to get her son's attention, Zhengzhou Evening News reported.

The woman, Zhou, was detained when she threw a TV set out of her window on Wednesday night. It was her fourth time throwing objects to damage cars in the housing estate.

She told police she wanted to win her son's attention because he works outside the city and rarely visits her.

Police contacted Zhou's son to get his help with the case.
