A nighttime burglar realized he picked the wrong address after he startled a 60-year-old mother who beat him to the ground on Wednesday night.

Soon after the man broke into the woman's house in Honghuagang district in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, the noise woke up the woman.

The woman struggled with the thief and beat him until her children heard the noise and joined in to attack the man.

Later, at the police station, the thief was still scared and said the old woman was probably a kungfu master.

The woman said she was never trained with kungfu, but she likes exercising and was not afraid of the thief.
