Heavy snow and fog in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, blanketed the city and
disrupted flights on Monday, according to the local airport.
The first snow of 2007 in Wuhan reduced visibility at the Tianhe
International Airport to less than 300 meters. Twenty-one flights
were canceled and 32 delayed on Monday morning.
Airport operations returned to normal at 1:25 PM when the
weather began to clear.
Heavy snow and snowstorms were expected to hit the east and
south of the province on Monday evening, which could disrupt
flights on Tuesday, according to a warning issued by Wuhan
Observatory.
