The thick fog blanketing a vast area of China including Beijing
and Tianjin will disperse as rain begins to fall over the next two
or three days, said the State Meteorological Station on Sunday.
A north wind on Sunday will also help dissipate the fog that
shrouded north and northeast China on Monday, bringing temperatures
down by four to eight degrees Celsius, according to the State
Meteorological Station.
Affected by a warm airflow, the southwest and eastern parts of
northwest China and regions along the middle and lower reaches of
the Yangtze River are expected to have considerable rainfall on
Tuesday.
