More than 3,000 Applicants for 15 Anti-graft Jobs in Macao

Macao's Commission Against Corruption (CAC) has received 3,586 applications for 15 vacancies, local media reported Tuesday.

The Macao Post Daily quoted CAC sources as saying that 1,522 of the applicants applied for 11 investigator jobs available.

The names of those accepted for a written examination will be soon announced on the CAC website, according to the newspaper.

Public servants continue to be Macao's best-paid employees with an average monthly earnings of 17,533 patacas (US$2,192) when the region's average monthly income stands at around 5,000 patacas (US$625).
