A bus crashed into a wall in Stanley in the south of Hong Kong
Island on Saturday afternoon, leaving more than 20 passengers
injured.
The accident, involving a New World First Bus, happened at
around 4 PM local time. The bus was making a right turn into Chung
Hom Kok Road when it mounted the pavement and crashed into a
wall.
Several of the injured in serious condition were taken to the
nearby Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital while some others
were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The police said the driver passed a breathalyzer test. The cause
of the accident was still under investigation.
