Six Missing After Ship Collision on East China Sea

Six fishermen went missing after their fishing boat was hit by a cargo ship Friday morning in seawaters off east China's Zhejiang Province, the local maritime police said.

The police was informed of the accident at 6:30 AM.

The location of the collision was pinpointed at 120 degrees 50 minutes east longitude and 26 degrees 33 minutes north latitude.

The cargo ship was registered in Nanjing of the neighboring Jiangsu Province, and the fishing boat, coded 2605, is from Zhejiang.

The maritime police have sent rescue ships to the site and several passing vessels are also helping with the rescue work.
