Macao's Former High-profile Official Faces 76 Criminal Charges

Macao's Court of Final Appeal (CFA) has accused Ao Man Long, former Secretary for Transport and Public Works, of 76 criminal charges, according to a press release issued by the Court Thursday.

 

The release said Ao will stand trial for charges including 41 alleged crimes of bribe-taking, 30 of money laundering and two of abuse of power.

 

The schedule of the trial has not been clinched, said the release.

 

Ao was detained last December.
