A cargo train derailed in central China's Hunan Province on Monday. No casualties have been reported so far, a local railway authority said.
The accident took place near Hengyang City at about 3:35 p.m. when three cars of a cargo train derailed off the trunk rail line linking Beijing and Guangzhou, said a Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company spokesman.
The derailment affected traffic on another track and caused the delays of some passenger trains.
Traffic on the two lines was restored about three hours later, he said.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
