A factory under construction collapsed on Sunday in Shanghai of east China, leaving one worker dead at the site and nine others injured, police said.
All of them were construction workers and two of the injured were in dangerous conditions in hospital.
The accident happened on the top floor of a six-floor building at 10:13 a.m. in Fengxian District of the municipality. The building belongs to a local company.
The ten people were trapped in debris and were found by rescuers. The nine injured had been sent to the hospital.
Further investigation is underway, police said.
