Another cold front will affect most of south China over the next three days, bringing strong winds and a temperature drop of 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Saturday.
The NMC said the temperature in some parts could even plunge by 8 degrees Celsius.
Eastern coastal regions and people traveling on ships should be on high alert as strong winds will impact them.
As for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China and provinces in northeast China, cold dry wind is also expected, the NMC said.
