Opinions sought on giant rail hub
Adjust font size:

The Nanjing Planning Bureau is seeking public opinion about the construction of the largest railway hub in Asia.

The Nanjing South Railway Station will be open in 2013 when the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is completed, Oriental Morning Post reported today.

The station will accommodate the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail link, the Nanjing-Hangzhou rail link and metro lines. The station and its neighboring facilities will spread over 603.14 hectares, six times the size of the Nanjing Railway Station.

It is expected to handle 60 million passengers annually.
