Three people were killed and 16 others injured in a bus-truck collision in south China's Hainan Province Wednesday, local authorities said.
A sleeper coach en route to Guangdong Province bumped into a mid-sized truck at about 10 a.m. in Qiongzhong County while turning a corner. Two motorcycles running behind rammed into the truck.
Drivers of the coach and the truck and a woman on a motorcycle died on the spot. One passenger was seriously injured and another 15 suffered bruises.
Local traffic police are investigating the cause of the accident.
