Ten road construction workers were injured after a work shed fell down early Thursday in southwest China's Sichuan Province, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. when a storm toppled the prefabricated house at a construction site in Shishi Middle School in Chenghua District, Chengdu City.
The ten road workers were seeking shelter from the storm at the time of the accident, the Chenghua district government confirmed.
Seven have been discharged from hospital and the rest were in stable conditions, it said.
The seven men and three women work for the No. 7 subsidiary of Chengdu Urban Construction Company.
Local fire fighters said earlier that dozens of workers were buried or trapped in the house.
The work shed was built on Sept. 4 with a floor area of 1,600 square meters.
Further investigation into the cause of the collapse is underway.
