Ten people were confirmed dead and six others injured after a farm vehicle turned over Wednesday evening in Lhasa, capital city of southwestern China's Tibet Autonomous Region, local government sources said on Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at around 7:11 p.m. on Wednesday in Damxung county of Lhasa, when a farm vehicle with 16 people aboard turned over after hitting the roadside guardrail due to mechanical failure. Five people were killed on the spot, and another five died later en route to hospital.
The six injured have been sent to the People's Hospital of the autonomous region.
Cause of the accident is being further investigated.
