All 947 soldiers from 17 foreign countries who participated in China's Sept. 3 military parade have now left Beijing.

Troops from Tajikistan and Kyrghyzstan were among the last to set off from Beijing Capital International Airport on Saturday afternoon, the PLA Daily reported on Monday.

Russian soldiers were the first to leave soon after the parade on Thursday afternoon.

Held to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, this was the first military parade in China featuring foreign troops.

Belarus, Cuba, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Mexico, Mongolia, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan and Russia each sent a phalanx of about 75 soldiers.

Delegations from Afghanistan, Cambodia, Fiji, Laos, Vanuatu and Venezuela also marched in the parade.
