Police in east China's Anhui Province have seized counterfeit
bills worth 6.45 million yuan, or about US$827,000.
Police in Jieshou saw two women around 40 years old who looked
flustered as they unloaded three bags from a taxi and placed them
in another car.
They discovered the bags were stuffed with counterfeit 50 yuan
and 100 yuan bills.
The two women said the fake bills were transported from Shenzhen
in south China's Guangdong Province.
The investigation is continuing.
