Heavy fog forced part of an expressway in southwest China's
Sichuan province to close for about 10 hours on Thursday
morning.
The dense fog began from the early morning hours and covered the
Chengnan expressway that links Chengdu and Nanchong in the province
until ten o'clock in the morning. During the period, visibility
along the highway was very poor and in some parts nothing is
visible beyond 20 meters.
Reports say traffic gradually turned back to normal after 10:00
am when the fog lifted.
