Quake-affected students enrolled to new schools

As International Children's Day approaches, many students have welcomed new classmates from the earthquake-hit areas to celebrate their annual festival.

Over two hundred students from Sichuan Province have arrived in the northern Chinese city of Tianjin by train on Friday. They will enjoy a new life in a middle school in the coastal city, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Six primary schools in the eastern Chinese city of Yichang also welcomed twelve new pupils on Thursday. The new students will not have to pay any educational fees during their stay.

Lingtong school in Si County in eastern China's Anhui Province held a welcome party for three children from Sichuan Province. Locals also presented gifts to the newcomers, including stationery and money.
