The China Earthquake Administration (CEA) has launched a level III emergency response plan after the strong quake jolted Damxung County near Lhasa at 4:30 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Oct. 6. The road leading to the Yangyi Village, which was once blocked by the quake, was repaired. The injured were sent to nearby hospitals or hospitals in Lhasa city.
