The illuminated China Pavilion for the 2010 Shanghai Expo is seen at the site of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo on June 22, 2009. The 20,000-square-meter structure was bathed in multicolored lights at 8 p.m. as a substation that provides power to it and the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan pavilions began operation.
