An International Vegetable Science and Tech Fair kicked off on April 20 in Shouguang, Shandong province, China's largest vegetable planter and exporter.
With the theme of "Green Agriculture, Science and Future," the fair features an exhibition area of 350,000 square meters and displays advanced technologies and new varieties in the field of modern agriculture, especially in the production of vegetables.
The fair has been held annually since 2000 and is the only special meeting in the vegetable industry in China approved by the Ministry of Commerce.
