Shandong's provincial government kicked off a five-day trade and investment promotion campaign in Hong Kong on July 10.

Jiang Daming, governor of Shandong and head of the delegation, believes the event will further expand cooperation between Hong Kong and Shandong.

The delegation is introducing 300 possible areas of cooperation in high-tech industries, advanced manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, infrastructure, agriculture and fisheries, and modern services.

Shandong has hosted promotional activities in Hong Kong annually since 2009.

During the three activities, a total of 613 projects were signed, involving pledged capital of US$53.3 billion, of which US$15.17 billion has already been utilized.
