The academy of macroeconomic research in Shandong province and a research institute in Seoul, signed an agreement on strategic cooperation of jointly tackling key problems, academic exchange activities, sharing resources for research and the creation of an exchange system.
Both parties will undertake joint research projects regarding subjects such as exchanges and cooperation between Shandong and Seoul in economy, trade and culture, cooperative economic development around the Huanghai Sea, the establishment of China-South Korea free trade area, oceanic economic study, low-carbon economy and dealing with climate change.
High-level forums and academic symposiums will be held by both parties either on a regular or ad hoc basis. . The system will also seek to establish high-level exchanges between government and industry leaders.
