Inspired by Pu Songling's Liaozhai Zhiyi, or Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, artist Liu Xinyi created his long scroll drawing titled Liaozhai Stories. The drawing contains two volumes, with each having a length of 16m and a width of 0.4m, depicting 67 stories and more than 400 literary characters selected from the masterpiece. Each specific drawing highlights the best part of the original writing and contains a brief plot introduction. The work as a whole is seamless and possesses high collection and artistic value.
