A stone inscription in Zibo, Shandong Province was named the world’s largest short-hilt broadsword engraving on June 2.
Carved by Liu Shuzeng, director of the Seal Association in Zibo, the inscription is 5299 characters long and written on 174 blocks of lardite. Liu, who has been studying stone inscription since 1995, said that Tao Te Ching took her a year to complete.
