Shandong Recreational Fishing Association to boost fishing industry

Shandong's fishing industry received a boost with the formal establishment of the Shandong Recreational Fishing Association.

The association will be a home for recreational fishers and an advocate for the fishing economy in Shandong, said director Wang Shouxin during the opening ceremony. "We have been making remarkable progress in combining the fishing industry with the tourism and culture industries by developing recreational fishing as part of the greater fishery industry," said Wang.
