6 Shandong's cities selected as experimental intelligent cities

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China recently released the list of 2013 national experimental intelligent cities.

103 cities and regions including 6 of Shandong Province made the list.

Taking 3 to 5 years, 6 cities and regions of Shandong Province: Yantai City, Qufu City, Rencheng District of Jining City, Laoshan District of Qingdao City, Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark, will develop into a new information city pattern, supported by new information technology including Internet of Things and cloud computing.
