The first "thousand-person walk", co-sponsored by Tenth Arts Festival Executive Committee of Jinan City, Tourism Industry Association Walking Club of Shandong Province and Jinan West Group, is expected to be held on September 14 and 15 in Jixi Wetland in Jinan City.

The activity will be divided into two sessions. The first is a 15km walk from the arts festival venue to Jixi Wetland and the second session is a 13km walk over the wetland. Participants can choose which session to participate in. For safety reasons, the event is not a competition, but is designed to promote a team spirit. The participants take part together, and those who manage to complete the walk will be given the chance to take part in a prize draw.

As the country's first provincial walking club, Shandong Tourism Industry Association Walking Club is committed to promoting the province's mass popularity and the development of walking. Its goal is to make people happy and healthy by integrating outdoor sports resources.
