Weihai launches Intelligent Public Transport System Project

It is reported that an Intelligent Public Transport System Project for Weihai, worth a total investment of some 70 million yuan, has been launched by the Weihai Municipal Public Security Bureau.

Organizations holding two types of certifications (the first class certificate in the field of Computer Information Integrated System issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People’s Republic of China, and the first class certificate in the field of security jointly issued by several government units including the Public Security Bureau) are qualified to put in a bid for the contract to establish this system by September 4.

It is also reported that the Road Monitor System Project launched by Weihai Municipal Public Security Bureau covers more than 200 intersections and 500 routes for speed measurement and other usage.
