Pu Songling Literary and Art Prize established in Shandong

A literary and art prize, named after writer Pu Songling (1640-1715 AD), famous for his captivating and supernatural stories, has been established in his hometown of Zichuan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province.

The literary and art prize awards excellent works related to important events in the district's history, landscape, and other vital relevant elements, in ten groups such as literature, musical dramatic, and choreographic works, artistic production, calligraphy, photographic works, plays, operas, films and TV plays.

The prize aims to present works playing an active role in passing down the local culture, carrying forward the spirit of humanity, showing distinct culture characteristics, and enhancing the district's influence.
