The tenth China Art Festival will open on October 11 in Shandong Province.

After three years of preparations, all the venues and facilities for the fifteen days of festival are in place.

The festival raised a total of 320 million yuan (US$52.3 million). The opening ceremony will include a 16 minute brief ceremony and a major drama performance during the festival will reflect a simple style and practice frugality, helping to concentrate money in important places.

Besides the competition events, many other performances will be presented during the festival for ordinary people.
