The First Jinan Art Exposition, a platform of art deals, kicked off on Nov. 18, in Jinan City, capital of Shandong Province.

The exposition was organized by Jinan Newspaper Syndicate, Jinan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Television, Press and Publication and the Shandong branch of China's Commission of folk collection appraisal and Vanke Real Estate.

Dozens of different kinds of works of art on display attracted many collectors. The major exhibition room caught the most attention, with paintings and calligraphy works by various famous artists, woodblock prints and pottery, jade, bronze and wood carvings, clay sculptures, wood engravings, colored glass products, Thangka, root carvings and various antiques.
