World Boules kicks off in Shandong
The Lvdengxing World Boules Confederation Cup 2013 kicked off on Nov. 1 in Yanggu County, Shandong Province. 48 athletes from countries, including China, France, Morocco, Thailand and Malaysia, participate in the games. The Thai team paraded its stuff and eventually won the championship. Yanggu County is China's national petanque training base. [China.org.cn]
