The Shandong Mechanical Industry Association recently listed its top 100 mechanical companies in the entire province. Many famous companies such as Weichai Group, Sinotruk Group and Shifeng Group made the list.

Last year, the main business income of all mechanical companies in the province reached 2.77 trillion yuan (US$450 billion), up 15.06 percent year-on-year. In addition, total profits piled up to 186.8 billion yuan (US$30.35 billion), up 16.41 percent year-on-year.

Among them, the main business income and total profit of these top 100 companies came to 575.6 billion yuan (US$93.53 billion) and 29.1 billion yuan (US$4.73 billion), accounting for 21 percent and 16 percent respectively.

In addition, major economic indicators such as revenues and profits of mechanical companies in the province ranked second in the overall national mechanical industry.
