I have a humble suggestion about the rescue mission in Sichuan.
A branch of Canadian military force specialized in rescue missions called Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) is waiting for approval to enter Burma. In the mean time, some local voices in Canada are pressuring DART to go to China instead. I suggest China authority to send an invitation to Canadian government for DART assistance. DART should be able to offer help in medical treatment, clean water, contruction assistance, and so on. More importantly, they have experience in earthquakes such as the one in Turkey. I am not sure if this helps, but more help is better than some in my humble opinion. If interested, please spread this info to responsible person or department.
