A 20-strong rescue team from Hong Kong is on its way to Sichuan Province. This group has been dispatched by the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The team comprises firefighters, rescue workers and medical staff. They are bringing four tons of rescue equipment and materials.
Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tseng has pledged all-out efforts to help the quake-stricken region recover. The team is expected to arrive in Chengdu at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
