The second China International Art Work Exposition will
open in Beijing on Nov. 22 this year, said the
Chinese Ministry of Culture on Tuesday.
The five-day exposition will gather artworks from top Chinese
art galleries and mount special displays of Italian artworks and
Chinese antiques, the ministry source said.
The organizer will also sponsor a contest on painting and
calligraphy in a bid to discover more young talented artists, the
source said.
The first exposition, held here last year, attracted around 75
art galleries from Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the
regions of Taiwan and Hong Kong, displaying more than 3,000 art
works.
