Veteran pop singer Tsai Chin will hold her personal concert in
Guangzhou in September. The concert will have a special segment for
commemorating Edward Yang, Tsai Chin's ex-husband, with her
affection placed firmly in her songs.
She is soon to hold a press conference in Guangzhou publicizing
her upcoming concert.
Tsai Chin married her ex-husband in 1984 and returned to her old
trade as an art director in Yang's film A Confucian
Confusion.
However, they unfortunately broke up due to Yang's extramarital
affair. Tsai Chin never made a record until three years later when
she reemerged on stage with annual concert tours all over Southeast
Asia and North America, becoming so popular as to be honored "Box
Office Queen".
Tsai Chin's new hi-fi album will be released in August. At
September's concert, Tsai Chin will sing the two songs Endless
Love and The Forgotten Time, affectionately, to
express her grief.
