Adjust font size:

Warner Music Group said on Monday it has signed a license deal to market and distribute EMI Music's products in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

Warner Music, which is based in New York but has most of its operations in Los Angeles, said that under the deal, the company will be the exclusive physical and digital distributor of EMI products in the region.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the multi-year agreement expands an existing relationship between the two music companies covering India, the Middle East and North Africa.

EMI Music's recording artists include British rock bands Coldplay and Pink Floyd, while Warner artists range from pop diva Madonna to local band Linkin Park.
