Charlize Theron has called time on her war with Raymond Weil.

The Oscar winner has settled the 2007 lawsuit filed against her by the luxury Swiss watchmaker for deigning to wear other timepieces on her wrist in violation of an exclusivity clause in her contract.

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

According to papers filed in Manhattan Federal Court, the suit will be formally tossed within 30 days of its finalization.

The settlement comes less than a month after the U.S. District Court of New York granted a summary judgment in favor of the watchmaker and ordered that a separate trial take place to settle the issue of damages.

Raymond Weil filed suit against Theron back in February 2007, saying the actress reneged on a 14-month contract to make her wrist the sole provenance of the jewelry company by donning other companies' timekeeping baubles at a series of high-profile (and paparazzi-heavy) events.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old already seems to have a plan to recoup her legal expenses, lining up a new big-screen project.

According to Variety, Theron is in negotiations to star alongside none other than Tom Cruise in "The Tourist", a would-be blockbuster based on the 2005 French action thriller "Anthony Zimmer".

The flick would star Theron as an Interpol agent who takes advantage of an American tourist in order to draw in an international criminal with whom she once had a romantic relationship.

Cameras roll on the film next March.
