A custom special effect robotic Michael Jackson head. It is featured prominently in the climactic scene of Jackson's 1988 film Moonwalker, as he transforms into the robot that defeats Joe Pesci's evil drug dealing character, Mr. Big. The initial transformation sequences shot with this piece showcase the animation of the head lighting up as each piece of the face pushes out and expands before retracting back into the shap of Jackson's face again. The head is currently housed on a black metal pedastal with a plexi glass cover. The entire unit plugs in and animates at the push of a button on the outside of the display case. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000 [China.org.cn/Julien's Auctions/Shaan Kokin]
