Renee Zellweger says her fans make her late.
The "Bridget Jones" star admits she regularly keeps friends and colleagues waiting, but blames her poor time keeping on spending time with the public.
She said: "I have missed flights, missed ferries, missed taxi cabs and made my friends wait because of it. I'm learning to be better at it but I'll still feel bad if I can't stop to talk to someone."
Despite her tardiness, the 39-year-old actress feels obliged to speak to people on the streets because she doesn't want to let anybody down.
She explained: "I hate to disappoint them, and I'm not very good at saying no."
Though she always manages to find the time to speak with her fans, Renee recently admitted she is too busy to settle down with a boyfriend.
She explained: "I'm not single, I'm busy. That's my line. The thing is, I'm away all the time. I suppose if I sat still long enough to get to know somebody beyond a dinner date, maybe. But I don't feel like my life is empty or that I have to make something happen. I have projects to develop.
"I wonder is there really time for all of it? I never say never about anything because I look back on my own personal history and it shocks me."
