Liam Neeson's wife is in a critical condition after being injured while skiing.
Natasha Richardson - the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and sister of Joely Richardson - was rushed to a hospital in Montreal, Canada, after reportedly sustaining a brain injury.
A representative for the film "Chloe", which Liam has been filming in Toronto, said: "Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife's accident.
"We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family."
Natasha, 45, is due to appear in a Broadway version of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" alongside her mother later this year. The pair starred as mother and daughter in 2007 movie "Evening", a drama about a dying woman who decides to tell her children about her life.
Liam, 56, and Natasha married in 1994 and have two sons, 13-year-old Micheal and 12-year-old Daniel.
