Russian pop sensation Vitas will release his debut Chinese EP.
The singer, known for his surprising treble voice and Russian-textured pop music, will collaborate with Chinese mainland entertainment giant Starlight International to work on his first-ever Chinese record.
Heavyweight mando-pop producers Li Sisong, Li Weisong and songwriter Yi Jiayang will tailor a new song for Vitas, aside from some covers of well-received Chinese songs which will be included on the EP.
The pop idol recently began shooting his part on the filming set of "Mulan", a costume piece by Hong Kong director Jingle Ma. Vita reportedly plays a singer who enjoys a special relationship with a princess in the movie.
