Jackie Chan, currently the most popular Chinese actor, had developed a strong interest in martial art films at a young age and was always involved in fights. Memories of winning a fight aged 18 when he found himself outnumbered by a group of men, is still fresh in his memory. However, Chan recalls being a shy youth. He found a safe outlet for his aggression and energy in movies.
Chan went on to become one of the most daring action stars in the industry.
Jackie Chan's advice for young people is to keep doing what you like and never give up on your dreams.

Renowned writer Liu Yong from Taiwan, found his way to success through a devotion to reading. Liu started reading chapter-novels when he was 18 years old, the energy he gained from reading propelled him to go further and become an excellent TV host, writer and artist, with numerous widely acclaimed publications.
Oscar-wining director Ang Lee also shared his story at 18. He recalls it was a year of twists and bewilderment. However, he finally found things he thought were missing from his life on the stage and learned more about movies.
Lee said people should know what they want to do and strive hard for it.
