For singer-songwriter Deserts Chang, the best way to promote her new album "City" is of course by touring cities.

The Taiwan musician on Tuesday launched her "City Sing and Tour" in Beijing, where audio mixing of her album took place.

Chang and her band, Algae, are also set to tour Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan, Qingdao and Guangzhou.

"City", released on May 22 by Sony BMG, is Chang's third studio album. The singer, who turned 28 shortly after the release of "City", describes it as her coming-of-age work. She considers the album's lyrics to be her most complex and revealing to date.
