Fans with tickets to Aerosmith's conerts in Los Angeles and Irvine are being offered refunds because the hard rock band has decided to cancel the rest of its current tour, organizers said.
The decision was made after Tyler fell from the stage last week during a concert in Sturgis, South Dakota, breaking his shoulder and cutting his head.
The canceled concerts were scheduled for Aug. 21 at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles and Aug. 23 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine.
"Words can't express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour," said Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry. "I am sure going to miss playing with ZZ Top, just as I'm sure the fans are going to miss seeing them playing with us as well."
Meanwhile, veteran rock band ZZ Top has announced two concerts in the region. It will perform at the House of Blues in Anaheim on Aug. 20 and at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood on Aug. 21.
