Daily life is the common inspiration for these designers, and they also use their designs to help enrich people's lives.
Environmental protection and the recycling of the waste became the focus of their designs. A tree shaped lamp is made from an abandoned computer display screen. A set of home decorations are made from wasted concrete.
Designer Wang Hao said, "The speed of urban development is amazing, and produces many castoffs. Our concept is to reuse them. These containers were all made by architectural waste and plastic bottles. I want to call upon people's attention to environmental protection through my designs."
The venue of the exhibition is set in the bustling Sanlitun Village, a popular shopping area in downtown Beijing. Organizers want this location to provide the viewers easy access to these creative designs.
