One Day in China

Submit photos or an article to our contest and you could win a cash prize!

Whether you live in China or elsewhere, you are welcome to enter our "One Day in China" contest to celebrate the 60th anniversary of People's Republic of China.

If you live in China, take your digital camera or just sit down at your computer and type out what happens on September 19, 2009. If you live elsewhere, do the same thing but please make sure what you record has something to do with China.

You can submit a single photo or a series of photos, but no more than 5 photos please. If you prefer to write an article, it should be no longer than 1,500 words.

Your work should be about what happens on September 19, 2009 and be submitted to our website no later than 12 pm Beijing Time on September 22, 2009.

Please email photos to yourpics@china.org.cn and stories to yourstories@china.org.cn. The attachment of your email should not exceed 10 MB.

120 entries will win prizes in three categories: Winners in the gold category will receive 3,000 yuan (US$439); winners in the silver category will receive 2,000 yuan (US$293); and winners of in the bronze category receive 1,000 yuan (US$146).
